Contest Over View Winners
Create a map (for any PC game) set at a famous location or landmark.
We were really impressed with the Trouble in Paradise contest winners and loved seeing users submit maps created using many different engines. This months theme is "famous landmarks" from Stonehenge, to the Statue of Liberty, the Eiffel tower to the Great Pyramids every country has structures that are iconic and recognized the world over.

This time we want you to take these great locations and build a level based around them. We are leaving this contest very open to allow you guys as much artistic freedom as possible. You can choose any game or gamemode you like, base the level on a landmark anywhere in the world, and even choose what time period it is set in (during the construction, present day, or even the future?).

Need ideas, why not check out our inspiration page?

Judging Process

As usual maps will be judged by our experts based on the following criteria.

- Technical ability required to create the level.
- Use of custom content (textures / props etc)
- Overall aesthetics and ambiance.
- How well the map sticks to the theme.
- Amount of effort required to create the map.
- Gameplay & Completion

However since these are all existing places, this time you will also be judged on how well you have recreated the landmark.
