High Altitude Contest

Contest Over View Winners
Create a map for any PC game set at a high altitude.
After the relativity poor turn out of the last mapping contest we've decided to go for a fairly open theme this time round. This time we want you to reach for the sky, quite literally, by creating fantastic levels set at high altitudes. The maps can be as realistic or as crazy as you imagine!

Remember this contest is open to levels designed for ANY PC game/mod/game mode, the possibilities are endless!

Need some ideas? How about:

- A mission set at the top of a mountain?
- Rooftop battles on a massive skyscraper?
- A space station orbiting the earth?
- A hijacked plane?
- A battle aboard giant balloons or airships?
- Floating islands in the sky above an alien planet?
- Mid-air combat with players skydiving / parachuting?
(Kill your enemies before you hit the ground?)

Contest Prizes

- 1st Prize: $100 cash
- 2nd Prize: $50 cash
- 3rd Prize: $25 cash

Judging Process

As usual maps will be judged by our experts based on the following criteria.

- Technical ability required to create the level.
- Use of custom content (textures / props etc)
- Overall aesthetics and ambiance.
- How well the map fits the theme.
- Amount of effort required to create the map.
- Gameplay & Completion
