Recreate a famous weapon from history!
It's time to go old school!

Think of pretty much any point in time and there has always been a defining weapon for that period! Well in this months skinning competition we want you bring these classic guns back to the modern day!

Your task is to recreate an iconic weapon from history!

Need some ideas? Why not try:

- A viking battle axe!
- A highwayman's blunderbuss!
- Muskets and other early rifles!
- Gentlemen's dueling pistols!
- A cowboy's revolver from the wild west!
- The classic mobster Tommy gun!
- Iconic WW1 and WW2 weapons!
- Cold war era weapons!

Contest Prizes

- 1st Place: $100 CASH + Front page feature!
- 2nd Place: $50 CASH!

- 4th Place: $15 CASH!
- 5th Place: $10 CASH!

**Contest Rules**: The weapon submitted can be of any type (Hand to hand, pistol, rifle, machinegun, grenade, rocket launcher, crossbow, cannon, you name it... )
The weapon submitted can be created for **any PC game**!
The weapon may be in its original state or modified *slightly* to fit a game.
Entries must be submitted to the GameBanana > Historical Weapons Skinning Contest category by the deadline.
The weapon must be considered historical (e.g 50+ years old)
The submission can use pre-existing assets such as existing models, textures or animations, but should be a new release made for this competition and must not have been previously available for public download.
Multiple entries are allowed, however quality is better than quantity.
Team based entries are allowed, however the entrants will have to agree how to split any prizes awarded.
Entries cannot be modified after the deadline except for changes to the submission profile (changing descriptions, notes or screenshots).
Entries uploaded to external sites must state that it was created for the GameBanana Historical weapons skinning competition.
Judges cannot enter or assist entrants.
